sMedia is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to assist in managing our day-to-day accounting and maintain our financial records, including sales, receipts and payments. Our ideal candidate is attentive to detail and deadlines and is familiar with accounting software packages.

  • Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner
  • Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
  • Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets
  • Develop a system for bookkeeping
  • Enter data, maintain records and financial statements
  • Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis to management
  • Monitor expenses and enter cash receipts
  • Proven bookkeeping experience
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Data entry skills
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
